In Acts 18, we see that Paul followed the Great Commission, as he was with Aquila and Priscilla. He also made tents, as this was his trade. A tent provides security from harsh winds, storms, and animals, such as lions.

Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

1 Peter 5:8

I want to be the guiding light that leads people to the ultimate tent, Jesus. We are the light of the world. The light that we have, is from Jesus Himself. I want people to see that there is protection from the wind, storms, and raging seas in our lives. And yes, the enemy. The enemy may seek to devour you, but you have a place of refuge to run to. A tent so to speak. Hence the name, Tentmaker Ministries. I by no means am the tent, nor do I make the tent, but I want to lead you to the Maker who is the tent. The Tentmaker is Jesus. Through God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, you have the ultimate tent. The Trinity. An impenetrable tent, made of a God who loves you more than you will ever know.

Did you know that it is extremely unlikely for a lion to attack you when you are in a tent? Lions view the tent as an object. They can’t see in, and have no idea that you are even in there.

God is your tent, your fortress, and your refuge. He can hide you under the shadow of His wings, where no lion can find you. The enemy is nothing but darkness. God is nothing but light. Light overcomes darkness, darkness can not overcome light.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 1:5

Therefore, when you seek shelter, you can easily find that shelter in Jesus.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13

God can do all things. Nothing is impossible for Him. If you seek shelter from the storms and raging seas, remember that you always have a Father in whom you can seek refuge. A place where you are secure in His hands. Hidden in the tent of His wings.
